Our Causes

Love Running is about seeing love in action, love with legs. We're partnering with some incredible charities to help change the lives of the poor, the oppressed and the needy.

Half of what we raise will be distributed amongst local causes, addressing some of the areas of greatest need in Bristol.

The other half will go to a project we're doing with IJM, to combat the Online Sexual Exploitation of Children.

IJM

  • IJM, International Justice Mission, is the largest anti-slavery organisation in the world
  • There are an estimated 50 million people in slavery today
  • 1 in 4 of those are children
  • Love Running is partnering with IJM to tackle the Online Sexual Exploitation of Children, focusing on freeing exploited children in the Philippines
  • In 2022, 1 in every 100 children in the Philippines was abused to create child sexual exploitation materials
  • The UK is the 3rd largest consumer of online child sexual exploitation
  • All the money we raise for IJM will go to freeing and rehabilitating children exploited in this way
